Welcome!

Thank you to all the members of Music Forte that are here now, have been members in the past, and to the many members that are soon to join. 

We’ve been working long and hard hours, days, months, even years to refine, rebuild, and renew Independent Music as it exists today. If you’ve been to the site in the past, you’re obviously noticing some major differences already; there are plenty more on the way.

We’re confident Music Forte will be a new leader of this niche industry.  But our goal isn’t to dominate.  Our goal remains as steady as it has ever been, and that is to help independent artists sell and promote their music effectively and non-exclusively.

There is so much talent and so many ways to share it, that the future of music is no longer in just a few selected handfuls.  We believe there is an audience for everyone that fits with the goals of the artist.  Music Forte will be ready to handle the most ambitous and succesful artists out there.  Whether you have aspirations of becoming famous, making some extra money with your hobby, or listening and buying music, Music Forte is without a doubt the right place to host your music and build your presence.

This IS Beta

So we’re talking the talk, but can we walk the walk?  The answer is yes.  Music Forte is in the process of adding and providing major components that reach out far beyond the realms of the Internet.  But what we’d like you to keep in mind in this early stage is that many of our plans are not yet on our live server.  This does not mean that it will take forever to get them there.  The biggest task has been building the current framework that we can rely on, so that we can grow with less effort and time.  We always welcome your suggestions, but would appreciate a bit of protocol during this exciting phase.

1. There is a red feedback button on the bottom of every page.  Please use this if you find an error, or if you have a suggestion about the page.  We expect and want to hear from you.  Remember, this preview was by private invitation.  So please help us by exploring the site, using the features.  Don’t be shy.  If there is something we need to delete before we go public, we’ll take care of it.  

We’ll be going through all of the bugs or glitches you find, and keeping you abreast by posting information in our Bugs and Errors forum.

2. Although we already have many projects, jump right in and let us know your ideas for the ultimate Music Forte website.  You can tell us about it in our Suggestions for New Development forum.

3. Have questions? By all means, ask.  We have more people working for you than we ever have.  But more importantly, your questions will help other members who come to the site. Although we have a toll free number and contact form, we prefer that you use our Suggestions forum, as our new phone lines will be upgraded to accomodate our different areas of business soon.  Also by using the forums, it gives answers to other members who may have the same questions as you.

4. Finally, please don’t tell the world about Music Forte just yet.  We’re proud of the new site, but there is so much more that we’re about to offer, and we want them to have the very best impression when they get here.  We’ll make some major announcements of our own, and will provide you with plenty of methods to get the word out about your music.  We’ll let you know when we’re ready to go completely public!
