In my last post about Twitter, I might have sounded somewhat bitter. The truth is, I truly am not interested in what Miley Cyrus ate for lunch, or where Britney Spears took her kids. Regardless, Twitter is working for them because there are hundreds of thousands of fans who DO care what Miley had for lunch, and where Britney took her kids.
More importantly, you will find in their long history of tweets, that they run their accounts for business purposes while keeping it personal at the same time. In doing so, they help drive an enormous audience towards ticket sales and merchandise, or in whichever direction the focus should be. (…)
