 “Symphony”
Symphony, this is recorded in Japan at studio Wuu, a Duo Session with one of the accomplished percussionist and sound creator RITSUYA HAMANO and myself akiko/firebird999. There were some rough sketches for the session such as core harmonies and the images. “Imagine, that we are standing by the beach, feeling the ocean breeze and waves, the earth is playing Symphony, the night is ending, sky is getting brighter and brighter …” So, we took the journey to where this music would bring.
“Symphony” is dedicated to our Mother Nature and universe. Being by the beach and hearing the music what Mother Nature is playing, let’s give a listen …”Wow, the wind blowing, so this is the melody, Oh, yes, Waves are playing harmony, so the wind is singing on top of it. Cool. The sounds of the Rocks in the ocean, Mmm, this is the tympani…Wow. This is the Symphony, Symphony by our planet…” deeply inspired by this art of the nature…“Dear Mother Nature and Universe, This is for you…”
During the recording, it was a MEDITATION with playing. There were no manipulative thinking had come out to try or to control, two artists were just there…let the music flow, just be there as naturally…Every track was only one take and nothing has re-done.
Magic had happened.
For this magical journey, I would like to send my gratitude to Mr. TETSUSHI ABE, who is such a supportive Engineer and keep the studio to the comfortable space for me to fulfill my part.
