 This is the third CD by the artist DLIVAHH (pronounced D-LIVE-AHH!), and the songs are much more "edgy" than the previous two albums. There is a whole lot more guitar work, some experimenting with loops (on 4 tunes), and even a couple of rap numbers. The music has been called by some fans and friends "inspirational rock" or "progressive spiritual rock". The word "different" comes to mind. D'Livahh has incorporated different styles of rock here, but the message is clear: stay true to your roots, enjoy life to the fullest, and don't forget everything originates from God. Dlivahh refers to himself as "an artist who is a christian" rather than a contemporary christian artist. But the influences of major rock bands as well as CCM artists can be felt on this offering. People of varying ages have enjoyed this music, from the very young to grandmas and grandpas. And the lyrics are from real life, not generated from a pop group formula. Musically speaking, the songs are catchy with memorable melodies. The sound is reminiscent of 70's and 80's rock at times, and at other times, purely unique.
