If youre ready to take your music career to the next level, and leave the unprofessional nonsense to rest( at least on a band level), we may be of help to each other. My name is Heron Demarco Im a Hip Hop emcee/guitarist/pianist who writes/produces/arranges/and performs the music for a hip hop/rock project called Silent Disorder. Check it out here: http://www.myspace.com/indisorderwetrust I know band conflicts arent unavoidable but lets face it-There are a number of us whove met musicians, who have issues with handling the basics ie: showing up on time for rehearsals, studio dates, showing up at all for gigs, and a bunch of other things that eat at the soul of your band. Im interested in putting together a talented team of, no non sense, career minded musicians, for the live debut of my band Silent Disorder. The band can be described as the Roots meets Metallica with a lethal injection of Rage Against the Machine. What has the project accomplished to date? -an EP on itunes last summer -over 10 solid songs (and climbing) in our catalog to perform at live gigs. -an online fan base that continues to grow and will explode as soon the live gigs take place. What are our goals? -Recording deal (major/indie) -Touring ( a.ka. kissing our day jobs good bye ) -More music (cant have enough songs) -two to three gigs a month -and much more Im currently doing shows on a solo level, but Im pushing the idea of the band at each of my performances. So please be clear, Im making moves, doing shows, and making plans to take things to the next level as youre reading this. THE LIVE DEBUT OF SILENT DISORDER WILL HAPPEN. The project consists of the following: (live set up) Emcee/drummer/bass player/ two guitarists (in studio) Emcee/bass player/drummer (I usually handle the guitar parts in studio) UPDATE: The project currently has a solid drummer. Were looking for a bass player for a permanent position in the band (in studio and live) and the guitarists (remember: LIVE GIGS ONLY.) If youre interested and ready to work with someone who is absolutely serious about his career, please dont hesitate to contact me. What is offered: -A fun cool environment, we love to crack jokes, relax after practice or a recording session. -Professionalism. My favorite words are yes and no..Im a straight shooter. Feel free to ask me anything -Paid gigs for guitarists who meet the requirements. -In studio -if you have an idea that works for one of the songs being recorded..lets record itmy motto is..As long as it works -The incredible feeling of being involved with musicians who are all on the same page What is expected: -must be career minded( if you dont eat, sleep, and breathe music, please dont even respond) -Must have own gear and transportation to get to gigs. -Professionalism( we dont baby sit adults) -no egos -no drug addicts -must be a team player -proficient with your instrument -must be available for gigs and touring (touring is one of the main goals) REQUIREMENTS: Bass player (males: 25-29, females 21-27) Guitarists (males: 25-29, females 20-27) YOU MUST HAVE EXAMPLES OF YOUR WORK SO WE CAN EVALUATE IF YOURE A PERFECT FIT FOR THE BAND.
