Niki has starred or co-starred in many film and television projects such as Dick Clark's "Beyond Belief" and Dennis Miller's "Not Necessarily the Elections." She also appeared in a special devoted to Martin Luther King called "One Day," in which she recorded and performed "Voices of the past," a duet with pop legend James Ingram. Debbie Allen, the producer of this special, had the role written especially for Niki after hearing her sing.
