Please remember to keep your projects organized, by creating folders such as "Project - {project name}" Beyond that, you might want to date the files that you are swapping. More importantly, be sure to explain what you want to accomplish with the project.
Each project should have a topic assigned to it in the fourms, so that you can effectively create your music and stay organized.
FTP access is:
ftp://ftp.musicforte.com/ - via browser
ftp.musicforte.com - via FTP Program
Username - anonymous
No Password

sounds good to me! this way there is some direction for the group. u know i have no idea what i am replying to but if it's about collabs & projects...only problem is some may prefer to work with others and yada yada yada but i actually think that our members genuinely like one another and may find it exciting to connect with other members and just have fun! lol <---that last one was just a joke! |

Sweetness, and yes I like everyone I've talked to on here so far, so I'm not picky who I work with. Lookin forward to it! |

Hmmm... Maybe we should create groups. I've never used them. That way a project manager can control who is allowed in for each project.
Any thoughts or experience with that? |
I had some experience with this on another collab site. Each group was considered a 'virtual band' with a band name, and band leader.
Groups could help to unite musicians of like genre preferences and skills. |

DID this ever get off the ground? I am so leary of using new FTP adresses.
The problem isn't using the new one, but switching back to other ones I frequent. Exactly how much space can each user use?
Anyway,
Christian Rock artist ISO drummer, for studio quality work,
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=179847
All other musicians welcome as well.
Pick any song off that site (22) new ones being posted daily.
Then email me, and I will provide a drumless track.
Peace be with you,
jerm |

You could create the folder on your desktop and drag it on to the browser window.
Or (depending on your OS), you might be able to right click and select "create a new folder". |

WAIT A MINUTE !!
The drag'n drop worked alright, but the page on the browser was no longer Music Forte's, but my own desk's, with all of my items! For a moment I thought I had copied all my stuff onto the FTP.
So, back where I started. Right click doesn't do it either. |

| Anyone else having problems accessing the FTP? It keeps asking for a username and password, and I've tried selecting the box to log in anonymously, but no avail. Same with just typing in anonymous as the username and leaving the password blank. Neither will work. Anyone know whats goin on? |
