Different sites do it differently. Some internet radios are just streaming audio, like you say, and others are downloadable "podcasts". (That is, you download a single program, like you might purchase/rent a video from the store.)
It'd definitely be a good idea for you to let Bruce know about a few songs of yours, so that he can include them in his MF podcast. He gets a good enough amount of listens for it to be worth your while... |

KatsuCadence, I will put my 2 cents in as well even though Reconsiderate did a great job of explaining.
A podcast is like a broadcast, only digital. There! That's it in a nutshell. I got it down to 1 sentence, unlike most podcasters who will take a complete year to explain it. 
It is like internet radio in a way, but more, it is like tivo. You can play the podcasts 24/7, rewind, fast forward, pause, etc. People can listen on their ipods, wireless devices (PDAs, cell phones, blackberries, etc), and on their computers. Shows come in all flavors and niches.
I will take Fortecast to the next level. I promise.

Is it easier for you guys if we simply pay the $29.95 to enable everything - or will you automatically take care of this for Gold Members?
