Confused It's a bit before my time, well the year I was born in fact, it wasn't Chuck Willis , of C.C.Rider fame was it Question

I'm champing at the bit here. Idea Ok still a guess so I wont post a question. Is it Brook Benton of 'rainy night in Georgia' fame Question Sadly I just read that he died when he was only 56 in 1988. I only just read today that Eddie Rabbitt (who wrote Kentucky Rain and every which way but loose) also died at 56 a decade later.Sad
