That particular piece that Rose posted has been on the Internet for years. I used to refer to it on forums all the time, and it still is full of valid content!

There is another pretty interesting diagram that charts some of that stuff out in a comedic sort of way, I'll look around and see if I can relocate it.

Music is a "Good 'ol Boy " business. Even here, it is a network of known participants. What would be wise and prudent would be to unite on a front and create our own piece of the pie. With all that is available today, this could be done very easily if enough people got together. Just a thought.

I get so sick of listening to Indie's get so self-righteous. As screwed up as this business is, if any of you get a deal worth taking you better take it. It won't be every day that somebody will pay for your touring expenses. Sure you got to pay them back... IT'S A DAMN BUSINESS! What? You think they do this to make YOU happy? Not hardly. You're a product they are marketing that's about it.
