Interesting, but are they well enough established to PROPELL Indie ahead to the next level?
I did some research on these guys, the websites and their capabilities
seem obscure and moderately useful. I could be wrong. Again, I am
curious if they are proactive as aggressive -basically wanting to be movers
and shakers in much the same way as musicforte.com.
Let me know. The more resources we have to share with each other the better.

Well they definitely are
www.music-experts.com
this guys are new and therefore if you do a search you dont find as much information as musicforte, but they are definitely excellent in selling cd's in physical and online shops
www.jamwave.com
this guys are well known and i like them because of the big number of artists, they are not good in selling, but very good in promoting
www.musicfreedom.com
Good promotion for the artists and great decoration of the site |

Wonderful songwriter qoutes:
Thom Yorke:
I think sometimes all the charities are doing is mopping up the blood. It's a shame.
Frank Zappa:
The United States is a nation of laws: badly written and randomly enforced.
still more...
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.
Beck
I'm the artist formally known as Beck. I have a genius wig. When I put that wig on, then the true genius emerges. I don't have enough hair to be a genius. I think you have to have hair going everywhere.
Bob Marley
I don't stand for the black man's side, I don' t stand for the white man's side.I stand for God's side. |

Another way to promote your music is PR. It's not just a matter of putting music up on a website. You have to tell the world that don't normally visit those websites about it.
Google the name of my latest song Another Stretch in Iraq and see what I mean. How do you do that? I'll be giving some pointers on my next podcast of A Kiwi Songwriter. You can listen or subscribe at http://luigicappel.libsyn.com and its free.
I'm not claiming to have all the answers, the answers so far here are all great. I just have a few more.
The biggest market isn't fellow artists, its the people who download, share and listen to the music. Hopefully in doing what I'm doing I am also bringing new people to Music Forte which I am also promoting aggressively. |
