Maybe then we could ask Greg if that happens and a person goes over to the site that a cookie is saved in the system and WE get the credit.
That would solve it.
Also if that is the case maybe we should just focus on marketing our MLM part of the biz.. ???

oh-oh !...well , i think ....we need people that work all the time for sell
cd´s ....if MF is a site for sell music , the musicians must sell 5 cd´s per month....and 20 mp3´s per month....or 100 cd´s in the year....
it is sell music....
but i know the times are complicated....
and .....welcome the exposure......and the pretty face for the site....
this site is very beautifull......
and....i think ...all the people must put your head in how to sell music....

because ....the exposure in internet have a time and a final ....

im seeing many sites ....and i say....in the future the sites that they have
the music , the productions , the cd´....in your servers
go to have the advantage....

but only exposure....is insufficient....

the work of noel and roise are very necessary....with the correct direction...

the charm and magic is gone from the home page. In the name of getting membership, that is all that is being sold now.. there was a real charm about the old home page. And it was waaayyyy more attractive in getting membership and people to look. This new one is boring and ugly.
It looks amateurish now , not even good artwork.
Looks like it's all about money now. Looks like business sitish now, business before the music. and it looks corporate now.. not musical
The charm that Greg brought to this is gone.
I am trying to be patient to see what is coming, but the new changes are disappointing to me.. I like the internal changes, but not visual of wiping out that home page magic and making all pages look so corporate and cheesy. The look is too corporate.
I think that maybe they should do a platinum membership page like the new home page.. but not the home page..
also when you click on the choices from the New home page, it gives a little info about each membership type and then wants you to make a decision.. based on what????
The home page had all the features that showed you what you could have and do with the site.. this new one tells me nothing.
Again.. if I had seen this first, I never would have joined. And again I LOVE MF!!!!! I HATE the changes..
Still I wait.. I am trying to be patient..

I just wanna touch on the selling songs real quick. I'm sure there are a lot of honest folks that surf this site for tunes but a lot of us are also musicians, and well, I'll just say we know how to get the song(s) if we really want themfor our portable media and the such. This is true for a lot of computer savvy folks out there. But look on the bright side. Maybe it is being played for their friends and their friends friends and so on. Exposure. I know that term don't mean much to someone trying to make a living off their music, but, there is really not much we can do about it. This is a reality I have come to terms with and I put ALL my songs to SALE just to make someone have to work if they don't want to pay. Sad but True.




By the way...I have a suggestion on the cd thing. Why not have a way to creat a cd and upload the artwork and select song order ect right in the profile page. There is obviously cd replication for this site. Why not let the artist set it up themselves and then choose what songs and what order and whatnot. Would be a cool feature to get folks to upgrade. And for those who don't really know how or just want them, have some templates to aid in their designs.


Just a thought.
