i love this group called Pink Martini. I can't get enough of their latest album "hey Eugene!" they are a 12 piece ensemble and they are playing in Toronto on March 15th. Im soo excited to see them live. nothing compares to seeing jazz live!!

As an electronic musician you can't ignore Sun Ra
More recent discoveries include Branford Marsalis, if you listen you can tell that his rhythm section has been listening to break beats, Drum and Bass, and Broken Beat, Terence Blanchard has started to combine electronic music with his jazz making his current ensemble the best group in recent times, and one of my favorites has got to be Courtney Pine, who has been working with DJ's and electronics for a long time. Oh and one more the godfather of acid jazz himself, Roy Ayres.

i think jazz music is greatest genre ever created.
its the only genre in which you can totally improve and thats what i love the most. you can express yourself more and be more creative in jazz music.

i dont know too many specific names of jazz musicians, i just listen to the jazz station that broadcasts from my school, kkjz. its great when im trying to relax in between classes.
