Hey folks, I've taken the plunge and published my first Podcast on Sunday. I set it up at Libsyn. You can subscribe at http://luigicappel.libsyn.com/rss
I set it up or promotion through Feedburner as well, in the entry level free category yesterday. Haven't had any pick up through Feedburner yet, although I didn't expect things to happen instantly.

On the other hand I already have 7 subscribers, which is awesome! Two of those came through iTunes which is awesome. Feedburner helped me list with iTunes. I tried to register through iTunes, but it isn't available in New Zealand yet and it wouldn't let me register without a US address and credit card. Doesn't matter, they found me through the back door.

Now I am going to start working through all the Podcast promotion links at Music Forte. Thanks so much for adding those links folks, it is making life much easier. It has been my experieince in previous projects that promoting yourself is really important and you can spend a lot of time promoting in the wrong places:)

So if you are a songwriter an looking for ideas on how to promote yourself, why not register to my podcast and I will share what I learn as it happens. You can subscribe through your faourite podcatcher. I use iTunes, which lets me access all the free stuff, even if I can't buy tracks there.

I am promoting Music Forte in my Podcast and hope it will generate more members here.

I've been reading books on how to succeed in the industry, but the technology ischanging things so fast that the books can't keep up.

Thanks greg and the team for helping me learn more about Podcasting:)
