I started my musical life some 20 mumble years ago as a bassist. My first bass was a 62 Danelectro Longhorn, which I still have, followed by a 1984 Kramer DMZ6000B, again, still in the stable. About 7 years ago, I switched to guitar, and have a small harem, which I play regularily. My main 3, well..., 4, are:
a 1987 Aria Pro II Prototype of a model that was never put into production, a 1987 Ibanez Pro540R which has been modified with a Kramer Quad Rail in the bridge and special wiring. A 1972 Penco (Made by Ibanez) Les Paul goldtop, that is the best paul I have ever played! And lastly, but not least, is a 2003 Kramer Pacer. Don't laugh! It's a great guitar that only list for $115!!! (well, I put 300 in pickups in it, but still...)
Then there the 87 Gibson SG Elite, 77 Univox Hi Flyer Phase 4, 76 Aria acoustic, 66 Telestar, and a beat to death Charvel Jackson. Thanks for allowing me to babble!

| Me? I wear all the hats required to write, record, and produce my cd's. I would have to say that bass guitar was the first instrument I ever played.. way back sometime ago in the late 70's. Nowadays I concentrate on guitar and general knob tweaking in my studio.. |

For bass the "main squeeze" is a black Ibanez (SR300DXL).
For guitar it's an Ibanez artcore semi-hollow (AS73),
my acoustic is a Mann.
Cheers,

Hi everyone!
I play bass, I have an Ibanez GSR 180 BS I haven't been playing very long yet, but I'm good enough to play in a band (and they keep telling me how much better I am than their previous bass player )
I'm not taking lessons or anything, I just borrow books from the library and study those. And I play along with my favourite music
Well, that's about it.
Cheers,
Emmi |
