Would anyone be interested in having someone make "Human" midi drum tracks for their songs? I am working on getting my midi working on my electric kit. I am wondering if I have any reason too? I mainly record audio tracks with it. Midi could open up some more options though. If anyone might be interested PM me or something. You can listen to some of what I do here.......

I can see a HUGE need for live-midi type drumming in here- especially since the general consensus in regards to my songs seems to be "awesome stuff- but the drum tracks are boring" -I don't know drums- I've used drum machines thrown into a loop - so I would Say OH YEAH- THERE COULD BE A TREMENDOUS NEED FOR A GOOD DRUMMER- not just in some of my works- but probably for MANY of us! You've definitely come to the right place and glad you're here!- GregK

Hi,

I'd like to add myself to the index.

I enjoy putting music to lyrics, arranging, and creating atmospheres.
All of my music comes from a midi keyboard controller, Sonar, Reason, and plug-in synth and sampler racks. I can approach many styles. However, I have no musical knowledge and play it all by ear.

I am new to this forum, but I am not new to music or collaboration.

I sing, play guitar and write songs - lots of songs. I try to experiment with different styles and methods.

I am open for doing some guitar work, I have fender tele, Jim Deacon acoustic through a large diaphram condensor, cubase and reason.

My voice isn't classically good, but is OK for rock/blues kind of thing.

I am quite capable of operating the synths and samplers in reason for drum or bass work.

Anybody willing to collaborate on anything has my attention. I've been reworking old cover tunes, writing some of my own, performing everything, and recording it all myself but all of my own writing was always fueled by collaborating with the fellas in the band, and I haven't played with a band for years. The absence of swapping ideas has had me in a sort of writer's block for ages now, on top of I barely know what I'm doing when it comes to recording (especially drum tracks), but manage well enough to get the main idea across...however, the thrill of writing and recording is on vacation without collaboration. I've been all over Music Forte, Myspace,...etc...seeking collaboration with individuals, with little luck. I'm open to any style music and love the challenge of new things. I need drum (both electrtic and acoustic) tracks organized so that we can
write some smoking songs.

I am open to brushes or sticks

Also, I prefer times in 3/4 and 5/4 -but 4/4 is great as well...

I am exited to work with a drummer - even if it is not in the same room.

Let me know if this is possible. I want badly to collaborate with with fellow drummers and percussionists.

(I still suck at the 5 pc. drums as much as I can make a guitar or bass sqeal...)
