Make a Music Video for Indie Punk-Rock Band Competiton

Hi guys! I'm totally new to forums and blogs - which is kinda embarrassing, but I just got to bite the bullet and go for it!!!

I came across this India Band from Dallas called "Greyskull" and their music is really rockin'! I tried searching for them on YouTube... and found this video:

They're running a competition in Asia where they're inviting people to make a music video to their music and the prize is a whopping US$10,000 - that's like so much money (especially when you convert it to Singapore dollars!!!)

What do you guys think about this! It should be pretty easy to throw a video together! It's running for the next three weeks so that should be just enough time!

yeah actually i saw the advertisement for the competition on the straits times, if i remembered correctly. It's actually quite a big thing.

There's actually quite a buzz about it in the media school i'm from. 2 minute video, 10k USD, sounds great to me.

Sounds jokeish to me.
Bands should be doing their own vidoes as far as I'm concerned.

This is guaranteed to get them a massive buzz. Still seems sorta sleezy though, I wouldn't enter this competition.
