They said That I have
A heart made of gold
Down deep within my soul
I care for mankind

Underneath all that bitterness
I have a heart of forgiveness
Deep within, my heart's pure

And that truth lies in me
And that's for sure

But I closed my heart
Because I was hurt
I was lied to
left in the dark
Stuck with a family curse
I regret my birth

You see, my heart's been tainted a little bit
I grew aggresive and I became ugly a little bit
I grew to be unforgiving, not willing
I gave up the fight and faded into the night

I painted a picture of negativity
Because so many people trampled
and walked all over me
They chained me down and wouldn't set me free

So I put up a wall and stood tall
And said no one will ever hurt me again
There's no such thing as a friend
Love and kindness I cancelled it

But Ihave to accept myself first
And restore my pure heart
Before I make things worst
A learn to love others

Cause underneath all that mess
I'm really truly blessed
I must learn that life is just a test
Because I truly have a heart
