I`ve been listening to more and more stuff that people have in here, and really wish I could get access to c.d`s from firstaid4souls,breaking down,Asutra,Whiskey 3,D.J.Smooth4lyfe,Action TekJackson,Rod Taylor, and several others....I guess downloads will have to work for now though....just think, we all might be the topic of this discussion at some point in the future....peace out....Drop The Sun

Naradi and I are ALL OVER Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell. From their earliest stuff to their latest , these two singer/songwriter/producer/
awesome musicians are responsible for more hours of REAL accomplishment than most of the charting recording "artists" combined!!
thats just MHO tho.

depends on my mood

At the moment i am getting into Philip Glass's soundtrack for Dracula, played by the Kronos quartet!

Al di meola's soaring of a dream ( i think thats the name)

But i also love , australia's idol winner, Guy Sebastian, when it comes to the commercial genre and i am listening to flamenco music, Stevie wonder's key of live album, can't get enough of that!

I've been in this "re-visit the past" thing lately, and have pulled out some really unusual stuff lately. Bill Nelson's Red Noise's "Sound On Sound" is, to me at least, one of those cd's that equal the beatles sgt peppers.

The band Nektar, with the cd's, burned from vinyl umpteen years ago, "Recyle", "Remember the Future", and "Down To Earth" have been played to the point that my wife can now sing the lyrics to "astral man" in her sleep. Very Happy

And any and everything from Be Bop Deluxe and Gentle Giant. Complete polar opposites, but still sooths my soul.

"Send me the beat, boy, to free my soul,
I wanna get lost in your rock and roll and drift away......"

That's what I'm talking about. Music IS therapy.

Hey! I love music and music has always been a big part of my life. Ya know there are always those bands or artists that have always been my fave like Led Zep, Pink Floyd, NIN, Tool, ect but you're right we do change our taste from time to time and try to absorb some new stuff. Have you ever heard of Steven Mark???

oh cool a party.

i'm still diggin Radiohead and the Strokes.
Rage Against the Machine is incredible. I saw
them again at ROck the Bells it was amazing!
I guess Incubus and Red Hot Chilli Pepper's
old albums were great.
SOme of the new bands coming out these days
are just nonesense. They should stop trying so hard.

does anyone agree? Shocked
