Hey thought we needed one of these type of lists here.
What are your favorite VST effects that you couldn't live without?
Anwida DX reverb light..... and it's free (isn't that what it's all about?)
http://anwida.com/product.asp?pid=7
Another nice little collection of toys/tools Classic series (It's free.....)
http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-series.php
Anyone got any others to add to the list?????

I dunno but I have about 40 or 50 vst plugins installed for Fruity Loops, when
I used that, and I would have to say out of all that I have I would have to say
or guitar and stuff the best one I have found and used the most is called
FreeAmp2 it has 2 compressor pedals, pre and post, a delay, an
overdrive, a chorus, a phaser, reverb, and it has a choice for what amp
model you would like to use, whether it be a 4x4, 2 speaks, 1 speak,
marshall, something called gold, not sure what that is but it adds a
muddier warmer tone, and it has a little mic over the 4x4 cab in it so you
can place it where you would like and get the best sound for what you are
doing and it has a amp model head in it and all kinds of stuff...I thought
that one was pretty neat and I used it a lot vs any of the other ones i have
installed for it.....resource hog tho I found as it runs the processor up a lil
but over all it is a real good plugin to have.....I can't remember which site
I got it from but if anyone would like it to try it send me a pm or email and
i'll be glad to send it to ya..... |

Maybe lots of people are using more VST Instruments than effects. I like the Roland V-vocal that i included with Sonar. Ive written virtually nothing with vocals so that might let me get something made that can slip by Maybe the question could be What effects do you like to use - leave out the VST? |

Logic Audio's Adlimiter effect.
and the multipressor.
I love mastering with these. It makes the process so quick and painless. |
