We actually opened officially on Friday the 7th of Dec. These statistics are a screen capture from Sunday the 9th at 9:19 pm

Click Picture to enlarge.

We had (4) Podcast downloads total. The show has been submitted to major podcast distribution outlets such as Feedburner, etc. The number of "subscriptions" from these services are people who will get the new show every time it comes on the air. These are the numbers (subscriptions) that we are hoping to increase because these are return listeners.

I am not unhappy with 200+ listens to the show for what little advertising that has been done so far. Currently, I am sending out over 1000 personal invites a week or more beginning this morning. The response has been pleasing, but not intense at this point. The numbers are pretty interesting; Even if I only send 1000 per week, that is 52,000 per year. If you helped out, it could double really fast!

Monday is the best day of the week for the Internet. Statistically, from my own experience, this is what I have learned. Friday and Saturday are dead all summer, in the winter there is an increase on those days. Sunday picks up and it peaks Monday evening, as it trails off the rest of the week.

I have decided to do two shows instead of one. This may not happen until this week is finished because I don't even have a scheduled co-host for Monday's taping. I have some prospects, but I will have a show regardless. Carrying a show solo is no issue for me.

The first show - Haters Need Love Too - With the artist as co-host, will be on the air from Sunday Through Wednesday. These are the best days to be in rotation and on the air, so the most motivated artists should want that slot.

Thursday through Saturday I will run a show with a co-host from any walk of life that seems interesting, has a story or cause they stand behind. I just received an email today from the Lutheran Lesbian Society, and I sent back an invite for their appearance on the show. This is what I am shooting for... Cool people, interesting lifestyles, etc.

There will still be a rotation on those days because the format will be pretty similar. Music artists can still get some airtime, but those are less attractive slots. This may change, depending on when people get interested in the show itself, it may carry good numbers all week in 6 months or a year.

Just thought you would like to know what the listening audience potential can be at You Rock Radio - http://yourockblock.com

We talked about the value of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for an artist this week, and I explained to you that Music Forte offers you a service that people pay thousands for, and that is the truth.

I want you to see what I am talking about here...

The show is Number 2 on Yahoo's search engine. My own SEO is number three, but Music Forte's is above that and then some if you look further down.

That guy in number one position is no longer in the biz, but I took the name YouRockRadioShow at Live 365. I hate Live 365, they are overpriced and overrated in my opinion, plus I have my own server so I don't have to pay 147 bucks a month plus, plus, plus this and that to have a show broadcast. It's a rip off the way I see it, but people don't know any better, nor do they have the knowledge I have about infrastructure and the Internet.

We WILL have a live show soon. So that is a project that I am working out right now.

My point here is that Music Forte, for whatever you take it to be, offers you a fantastic service here for FREE... No matter what! All you have to do is post in this silly forum and link yourself up, use your band name, and you are all over Google and Yahoo. That my friends... Is a damn good deal!

(Why do you think I post as much as I do here? It's promotion... Big Time!)

Hell... While we are on the subject, let me show you something pretty interesting.

I just took this a moment ago:

These stats are on the main page of the forum at the bottom, and they change every 5 minutes or so.

OK... It is 10:36 PM Mountain Standard Time in Arizona USA. At this exact moment there are a total of 774 visitors here right now in the last 5 minutes. That is a big deal in and of itself, because 90% of forums are as dead as a doornail right now.

Out of these "visitors" 41 are registered to Music Forte as members of different status. Whenever a new person opens up an account they show up on the "Newest Member" slot that you see there. We all did at one time.

Now... That leaves 732 "Guests" that are on the forum RIGHT NOW! OK... Some of these "Guests" are people who Googled up something and they are here reading your posts (if you have any Shocked ) And a very high percentage of these are bots from search engines, or "spiders" that crawl this whole darn site! This is large people, LARGE!!!!

So the next time you post, think about something creative to say that people want to Google up. Keywords are words that get picked up by these search engines, that is; Google and Yahoo (Plus a zillion other search engines) key in on these dynamic words. Words like "Music" "Studio" "Radio" "Band" "Guitar" "Sex" "Drugs"... You get the drift.

Don't believe for one minute that your voice is not heard when you post here at Music Forte! See, when a thread (Topic) has responses or replies, they are read more often then the ones that have zero replies. That is the nature of entertainment, people like company and other people to socialize or visualize with. So reply to these silly threads, it can only make you a star!
