Sometimes... Enthusiasm turns from ecstasy to frustration to anger after you have been in this business awhile.

Indie artists are turning into a bunch of people who think they have it all figured out, yet they sell 58 dollars worth of music a year. When someone works to build them something they just use it as long as it is free and they don't have to pay or lift a finger to do anything.

Take this website for instance. Greg forks out 400 a month in server expenses so people can freeload from him all month. He does it because... I don't have any idea why he does it. The funny part is they bitch about what Music Forte supposedly doesn't do, when the guy risks everything to give them a distribution facility and a great place to sell their music. When someone comes along who wants to help them actually market and sell their product they just ignore them and keep clicking their mouse hoping to do God knows what.

Pretty damn selfish. But that is the nature of the "Indie" artist these days. Very misguided, but they will have to learn the hard way... Ain't nothin' free! You have to pay the Piper, now or later, but you will pay!

It don't matter to me that much, not really. But I do think it is a damn shame.

Yes... I am enthusiastic! Today I am depressed, but tomorrow is another day and I will be right back at it!

Sure.

Opened Dec 7th, 2007. Currently have 31,000 listeners. The goal was 52,000 by Dec 2008. I think we will get there.

Alexa ranking started at 11,987,371 Which is a non-entity. (Congrats to Greg and the Crew for attaining 98,000 ranking! That is the big leagues!)

The higher the ranking, the worse it is, so 11 million is bad. We, as of today, have gone down to 371,187. 100,000 or lower is relevant to large advertisers, etc. We are just about there in less than three months. This means we have BUSTED OUR ASS to get visitors and it is showing.

Currently, a major label artist wants to have my show picked up and he wants to make You Rock Radio a world class brand. I was told this by him just today. This is a guy who knows the band members of Led Zeppelin on a personal basis, and he has told me that his people LOVE You Rock Radio!

I am always in support of the underdog, and I will continue to support the movement I am helping to create and organize.

The FCC has NOTHING to do with Internet radio. Have no idea where you got that notion. But even if they did... What are you talking about? You lost me somewhere and I am a pretty astute person.
