I may have missed something, but I notice that the chart system has changed. Why has it been changed and what is it based on now? I notice
that now only songs that have received a rating are listed. So now it's no longer based on how many times a song has been listened to?

I noticed that too. Also, the byte playing feature doesn't work on my system which messes up my "Clicking with the Stars" segment of my show. I was going to the charts and playing the preview bytes for the show, can't do it now.

Greg said he would call me today, I am gonna ask him what it's all about.

Anybody know why the charts have changed?

The charts are supposed to be "the Top 20 most played songs by all members in each category," but only the ones that have been rated are listed. You can no longer tell which songs/tracks, are the most played, unless people are listening to only the rated songs/tracks (which I doubt, as the charts in the past didn't appear that way).

What does everyone else think about the chart system? It may be kind of unfair for people who haven't had a 5 star rating song/track.

The charts are based on a variety of factors. The song plays are still taken into account. But additional factors are going to be included until there is a good representation of the top 20. Determining the Top 20 will also take into consideration the number of downloads a song has received, sales, plays, ratings, and more.

hi greg , well im not undestand well this new system;for example, my song "xtacy oxilator" is in the chart but this song is not in my player
from many time, and ok , thanks for c hoose this song, but is an oldy song is the first version and u can listen my new version in my page here in the player of ning.
And , my question is a relation to the promotion of the electronic chart...
i have many banner in the web....this is a way to promote the chart and create some Interesting in how go the songs.
For example if im in the place 20 and make more promo in the web....
and the same if im in the first place.....with it more people come to the site.
but with this new system we do not need work in this way.
the question is : is it thus or im understand ad the new system.
