THAT HUSKY VOICE COULD BE A PROBLEM

If your voice is husky, it means you have been pushing your voice too hard by singing too loudly or pushing too much air into your sound. All of these things result in the voice becoming tired and sounding ragged.

Pay attention to the feeling in your throat. If your throat feels tight and gravelly when you sing or you constantly feel like you need to clear it, you are damaging your vocal chords. Bring your volume down, but try not to be breathy, aim for a clear sound. If you can, try singing with a laughy feeling in your throat this keeps the throat open.

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
