|
|
For those of you who have not heard- there are LOTS of rumors flying around the internet about the potential of a Led Zeppelin reunion and tour in 2007. Here is a link about that very topic http://www.therockradio.com/2007/02/2007-led-zeppelin-tour-wishful.html
According to the above link, and MUCH discussion amongst fans and literally thousands of places across the internet- Plant, Page, John Paul Jones are getting back together with Jason Bonham (the son of deceased drummer, John Bonham whose death in 1980 promted the group to disband)
NOW The BIGGEST problems going with this thing- probably the biggest thing that makes me (and no doubt many fans) worry is that Zep have been KNOWN for circulating wild rumors- and ever since they broke up there have been COUNTLESS rumors of the surviving members getting back together and recording or touring. SOMETIMES those rumors have been partially true as in the case of Page and Plant recording and touring together.
The other problem with my believing this- nothing is being mentioned on the official webpages for Led Zeppelin or Jimmy Page- but these guys are pretty well known when it comes to keeping secrets.. so ya never know!
IF this is an actual- true thing to happen- I will be out there with thousands of others fighting for a ticket- and praying I don't have to get a 2nd mortgage to do it!
So- have any of you heard these rumors- and what are your thoughts?? Believe it?? What do you think? |

practically fell outta my chair laughing so hard!! Actually, I frequently use the "Ferret" setting on my Digitech Processor while playing guitar with a Sonicare electric toothbrush. Although I cannot hear the entire spectrum of tones it produces- The sound HAS been analyzed by the Leahy Clinic in Burlington Massachusetts and has been shown to cause people to wet their pants. SO- going back to the rumor that listening to any oft he Forte' artists will create enlarged genitalia in male listeners- NO- this will probably not happen. But you MAY wind up with a healthier prostate! |

Yup, as we get older everything goes up (cholesterol, blood pressure, weight) -everything except the ONE thing they make viagra for!
Paul Gilbert is a guitar GENIUS- the first time I saw Mr. Big open for Rush (Presto tour??) and I was completely FLOORED.
Nigel stole Page's amp and I think that's and official Ace Frehley Les Paul he's using.
Ya know- I SERIOUSLY hope that the solution that Forte' will be rolling out soon works REALLY well- or that there are MILLIONS out there who like the sound of a violated ferret-in-a-chipper..LOL.
You realize, of course that as we ALL get older- we won't be able to tell good guitar tone from a cat in heat- it will ALL sound in tune to us!
(my friends- DO take care of your hearing- trust me.. you would pay ANY price to get it back when it's gone!)
and -back to the subject- I TRULY HOPE that Zep gets back together- but for the Love of God- I PRAY that Plant realizes he shouldn't wear those pants from the '75 tour at HIS age! |

Well, they recently played in London so you never know what they might do. Other bands have done it. Kiss, Iron Maiden, The Eagles (I would love to see The Pink Floyd do it too). Just think of the money they could get form a full blown "reunion" world tour. UGH! I would absolutley see that show!
