Hey there! Welcome to Music Forte’s discussion forums! This is where we come to talk about music and art in general: indie music as a culture, song writing & music theory, the music business and our music (my personal favorite). Don’t let this stop you from bringing up something interesting that happened today at work or school, though. If you take a quick look around at the discussions already in progress, you’ll find that the topics are pretty much no-holds-barred. The only catch is that you be responsible (in a socio-emotional sense).

We are here to build fellowship in a community that will last. You can mosey on through and share a couple of quick thoughts with us, or you can nestle yourself down into your new favorite online hang out, but no fighting and no flaming. That’s the only rule. As your moderator, I strongly believe in your right to free speech. I will not gag or ban someone who is outspoken or intense by character; truth be told, I can be that way myself sometimes. However, if complaints start rolling in from other members, we’re going to have to have a little chat.

Speaking of which, if you’ve ever got a forum-related comment or question, please PM it to me. (Just click the “PM” button at the bottom of any of my posts.) Don’t post it in the forums. PM it to me. Until that time, how about introducing yourself? It’s not mandatory by any means, but it does increase the likelihood that you’ll form the sorts of connections here that you need to make. Just start a new thread here in The Introduction Folder. You can include a link to your Music Forte page (icksnay on the outside inkslay!...that means DO NOT post links to other sites or they will be removed), let us know whether you are an artist or a listener, let us know why you joined Music Forte, talk about music or art in general and what it means to you, etcetera. It’s up to you, really. Just post whatever you feel would help us to understand you best.

just wondering if my frinds from indiana are on here i'm an old bass player named trinity.Hope julie doing good we really rocked in huntington.The first females to really rock there. maybe some one out there has a clue.you need a boing string.thanks
