What made you decide to join forces with Music Forte?

If you're an artist, what are your immediate music-related goals? How can Music Forte help you?

If you're a listener, what genre of music are you looking for? Are you looking to downlaod? Stream?

Me? I'm here for increased exposure; I want to develop a strong fan base. (Calling all Reconsiderate fans! Make it easy for yourself to keep up to date on the latest in Reconsiderate masterpieces!! I was very close to calling it quits (yeah right, like that will ever happen) and I after having 2 years of computer problems I had finaly built a new computer that worked. I thout I'd take another stab at the internet thing and I came accross this site. I got involved in the community here and I thought this is a site that is doing something. They accually interact with the musicians, They are really trying to help.

I want to make money with music. I want to be able to get out of Bermuda on the strenght of my music and eventually do sound tracks (maybe)

The truth is its a pipe dream but life is not worth living if you do not try to make your dreams come true.
Its all about the jouney and not the journey's end. Very Happy

I joined Music Forte because I love music and I think this is the best site on the Internet. I enjoy seeing all the new Artists come aboard each day and I am anxious to listen to their music.
I am a Platinum member so I have the best of both world's. I get to listen to all the music, refer friends to do the same thing and on top of that get paid for doing it.
Hopefully along the way I can help promote all the great Artists that have made Music Forte their home.

We found this site due to a fan. I noticed a few links from here to the main site and decided to check it out. So far the management has been very supportive. We do notice that. I think they might think us as more the high maintenance types but really we are here for the biz. We need to get more exposure as well as establish a fan base.
We can, esp. me, be found in almost a 100 different groups on yahoo, Google, forums and other sites, like myspace (some of the groups I am the owner or I help moderate). I am most likely the most vocal of the members of the band. They too are on a lot of groups. Being a indie, that is the only way I know to get people to listen to what we to offer. Each member of band has thousands tied up in the studios we have. I see it daily. Not hobby to me.
What I want, networking, exposure and sales. What I will get, well some are having a good time checking out the samples... some real good comments that stroke the ego for sure. I thank everyone for all the kind words given and some not so kind too. All a learning experience. The rest, who knows. But we will try.
How can MF help us? What ever it takes to get more exposure that may lead to some sales. Beyond that I do not know...

Ive been writeing tunez b4 the internet was invented,
and back then almost no1 got 2 hear my stuff.

i love it jus 2 show of a different type of tune, ones that would never get aired coz like me they r way 2 off the message.
Which personally is the way i think it should b.

Everyfing changes when u get big business envoled,
theres target groups, stats, pr etc i h8 all that stuff.

But mf and the like type site is jus u and the stuff u wanna show off.
Without all that money grabbing worry.

Its wonderfull.

I've been here for a while, but not taking full advantage of Music Forte...it's a great place. I am working on getting some recording gear that works for me so I can share some songs. We all need friends and contacts in the biz. Anyone interested in jingles? I'd like to hear from you.

Im here for the free government cheese.. Just kidding.. A couple of years ago.. I was just doing some searches on indie music, etc. and ran across MF. It seemed like a decent site so I signed on.. It is an avenue to get my music heard. Its a cog in the great wheel of promotion..

Its all kinds of awesome - form the comments positve and negative -Bluesbro invited mPHATic who ivited me...me and thats how I heard about it - Blusbro is a dude who gets around thanks Bluesbro!!!

Oh btw - this is simply the best music networking site in the world ...

Im not going anywhere else...more peeps have heard my music than ever and I can listen to their music and learn as well...

I now feel connected..to some listeners...

I'm here to expose my music as well as listen to others. Feedback (both positive and negative) is important. I would be happy to find enough people who like my music that would be willing to maybe buy a CD when I finally get one together. Also, it would be great to find someone who can steer in the right direction or someone who likes it enough to promote it.

Everyone has been fantastic so far -- I've already "met" some wonderful people from all over the world! This is a great site! Laughing

I was searching on the Google Directory, looking for a site that could help unsigned bands/artists get exposure, and probably a record label. At the top of the list, MusicForte went up. I found that this is a great site and community so I signed up for the Gold Plan. This is a great site!

I joined because I wanted to get more exposure to my music, of course I like my songs but will the public like me as my friends do. I wanted to be able to discover what the listening public and artist in the industry felt in my music. Whether they love it or hate it, this will definitely be a learning experience

It's complicated.

I first came just because someone invited me in by my E-mail and I thought I would check it out and it sound like another myspace and I thought that would be fun.

But then I was disapointed because I was told to not promote my CD Baby pages by LA Ridge so to be fair I didn't post anything more about them and I almost quit at this point.

Then LA Ridge donated money(about $5 of his music forte money which recently I donated back to him) toward my webpage and kept talking about an art page so I thought maybe I should hang in there especially when he said I could trade my musicforte dollars for a gold website.

Then nothing really happened about the artpage but by now I was getting closer to Gold membership so I decided to hang in there just because maybe I could cash in my musicforte dollars for a gold membership.

Then I lost all my cash I thought but Greg promised to give it back after the contest which he kept his promise on.

The Contest found me here alot because I thought I might win and if I didn't I could always trade my musicforte dollars for gold membership which Greg says I can possible do after the workload slows down so that may see me here more if that happens but I will have to wait and see if that happens.I think I will be disapointed though if it doesn't happen because I was hoping to trade in my musicforte dollars for gold status because that is what they were saying you could do in the forums.

Other things that are keeping me here now is that they have improved the Top 20 so that there are different genres for the top 20.This way it is easier to get your songs in the top 20 and it's possible to get more than one song in more than one the top 20.

I also started liking some of the posts of Reconsiderate and Mrs Peabody as well as other posts by other people and I'm very disapointed that Mrs Peabody couldn't stick around because I feel they both gave some really good views and insights.

Another thing I like here as well is some of the weird tunes that I can listen too and musicforte allows you to ad more than one song to your webpage so you can make a nice little podcast here.
