"I've played in various groups over the years (and years), from 'Last Exit' (later'The Extras'), through to 'Graph', 'Swampdogs' and 'The Wealthy Texans' and worked in a veriety of ways for bands from 'Caberet Voltaire' to 'Gomez'.
Finest hour was probably playing to 8,000 dancing Germans in socialist Soul/Funk/Reggae outfit 'The Mysterons'.
I play drums, percussion and synths. with various Jazzers, Rockers, Funkers and Free Jazzers in the city and run my own studio." |

Is it possible to make an income here without becoming a gold or platinum member. I think 14.95 a month is highway robbery. 14.95 a year maybe. We're the artists. We're the ones with the product. And putting our music on a stranger's server is the biggest kind of risk we can take. Were out there in the open where anyone could steal our music and we're not even getting paid. Clearly we have the cart before the horse these days. I'm just expressing a fact, and the real 'artists' here will agree with me.

You don't want the business op then go GOLD- $25 one time.
With Gold you make money promoting your own music.
With Platinum you make money promoting the music of 1,000s of independant artists.
Benefits of Platinum members are many -
Like 30 down loads a month -- a $30 value anywhere else
Paste Magazine - that's something like $40 a year - free w/platinum
The opertunity to build a monthly residual income and instant bonuses.

"Three years ago, I awoke from a coma, after six weeks, blind and paralyzed from the shoulders down. That was December of 2003.
After 5 months of recovery, I was finally able to see and feel my body again.
When my legs began to move, I picked up my guitar for the first time and learned a few chords. A few weeks later I had learned "Redemption Song". Another month later, I had also learned "No Woman No Cry" & "Waiting in Vain", so I decided to go play some open mics. Little did I know what was happening to me.
The response that I received, doing the Bob Marley songs was awesome, so I learned more, and more.
It's been a year and a half, and in that time I've put a band together and we do shows all over, as a Bob Marley tribute band. BUT, from all of the songs I've learned, I am now able to come up with great songs of my own, so as I do my Bob Marley show, I've started closing each show with my own tunes. Won't be long before I finish my first album!
What I've found out in the past three years, is that this was God's plan for me all along, and it feels sooo good." |

"The balance between the keyboard technology and tradition shines light on inventiveness and capabilities of his caliber. The most interesting element of Damir's music is the multiplicity of styles. As most albums wrap themselves around concepts, the wonderment of a one hit song, and finally many guests featured on each track, Black and White has no blueprint to the existing one album mind sketch.
Combining hip hop 70s with a future techno industrial edge.
Rap music, specifically Damir, has freed us from many conventional song-writing formulas." |
