Howdy! I am looking to record several songs for a demo consisting of 4 to 5 songs.

The demo will have a wild and crazy instrumentation of Mandolin, acoustic

guitar, fuzz-distorted electric bass, supported by both acoustic as well as

electric drums/ percussion.

Does anyone here have tried and true recording techniques for mandolins?

I am competent with vocals and drums at this point in time, but I have

never 'rolled a lot of tape' with mandolins before.

Anything would be helpful.

With best regards,

Taylor A. of Bluessunn

I've done some recordings with a guy named Erik Haddad, who played the Mandolin. He might be able to share some advise:

Thanks. Sure thing… I will certainly check that guy's material as well as advice out.

Also, what will it take to make it onto your up and coming compilation disc?

I have several pieces that are refined and equally unique. Let me know what you think.

With best regards,
