Say I have a song i did a while back that has just stopped for me and I think its a pretty tune, if I do say so myself, but it needs a story on it to complete it. It's got a sort of Goo Goo Dolls feel to it. Just wondering if anyone is interested in maybe writing some lyrics/singing a good story over top of it. I'd sure hate to see it go to waste just hangin out on the HD. No words have come to mind for me as of yet and I have heard many many good story tellers on this site and maybe, just maybe i thought one might wanna take a stab at it. If interested let me know and I'll upload it so ya can give it a listen. Keep in mind it's a slow tune, not all rocked out or strange like most of my stuff. It's an acoustic number with strings and stuff(only 1 sound effect for blending hehe). A verse/chorus/verse thing. Let me know.....Chasin' Insane

firstly chasin',
I'd like to say I really enjoy your music, most definately that includes your strange stuff. Your name is excellent too - I think we're all chasin' somthin' that makes us insain. -especially us ArtIstA types!!

i can do pretty or anything you like so I'd like to give it a shot and see if you like it as it is "your baby".

I have some warped stuff too that could use ur help as well. i would also like some tips for better vocal proccessing and production. ( I just think your blends resonate so well and are completely cohesive - perfect )

Well, Due to the cap on tunes being a free member i cannot upload the song to my site , but, have no fear....It's up on my 110mb.com page if ya wanna stream it and see if you guys can come up with any ideas....If you got a story you came up with listening to it, let me know and Im sure we can figure out how to collab on it, Im sure there's a way on here altho I'm not sure how to do it yet.....The site link is http://www.chinsane.110mb.com/ and just go to the music page and it is track 12 Song That Needs A Story.....And I sure can help on any recording tips you have, I'm no pro but I do have my own unique style of production.....As far as vocals, I can't stress enough, you gotta do layers and minimize effects used, don't disguise them or hide them unless the song warrants it.....At least thats how i do it....Layers fill the song out.....Chasin' Insane

Thanks for the offer, i only have it on that site to stream for folks to hear and get an idea and see if they can work with it, not too worried about those Google Geeks, hehe, i can make it downloadable no problem from there if someone would like to work with it, just let me know and i'll set up a link for it to download......Besides there are a couple songs on that site that are not on here and it will draw a lil traffic there too.....Chasin' Insane

Well.....that song WAS on the other site linked here....But now is not(free junk assed sites...Change the rules whenever they want so now It no longer is there.)

BUT HAVE NO FEAR!!!!!!!

The song is now on my Music Forte Page for free download for anyone who thinks they can write and sing a good story on this tune. It is titled "Needs Story" in the player. I have had a few others attempt it but nothing has come of it yet. So if you think you can do it download the tune to your pc and record a vocal track over it and send it back via e-mail or file sharing server (ie. Rapidshare).....

I like diamond rose, I hope I dont cause offence if I was to say I could help "embellish" it a little, I normally use cubase sx so if you have the file in that format what are the chances of you sending it to me to see what I can do with it?
I have some stuff at startsmoking.co.uk and I can think of at least one song your voice would work on better than mine, I hate my voice so if you wanted to try something with my stuff I would be delighted.
