There are tons of helpful blogs on this. I have been designing for years and have had all the worst things in the world on a site that I built, at least once.

One taboo is blinky boinky gif animations. They distract from readers attention, that is if you have something to read or know anyone who can read these days, I mean anything besides text message slang. Very Happy

This animation here though... ROCKS! Best I have seen. I happen to love gif animations, but they are a no-no for the most part.

Best I have ever seen. Most of them are WAAAAAY annoying when they have pictures of people. The guy that designed this is a genius, I think

What is your opinion of 100% Flash based websites? Many artists have them. I have a view of them, but I would be curious to hear yours.
