Nice designs.
Gifts for what? Why? You giving your work away is the same as giving music away. It is a nice deal for the soul, but now that you have got all of this press I think you should make a buck or two from your hard work.
If you give it away, they really don't appreciate it as much as if they worked for it. Fact of life.
Nice designs though. So what's next?
Why does everybody expect everything for freakin' FREE? Gifts my a**... Pay the guy a buck or two you cheap bastards.

These are some badass banners this person is doing here! You have great taste. A lot of these could go for 5 bucks and it would be a steal!
I think next month I am gonna have you make me one. You have a PayPal account? I might need a couple of them for some artists that are clients of mine. Seriously. 5 bucks a piece, and I might need two. |

Thanks for your positive feedback.
Up to now I didn't sell any banner. If I would do so, I've to fulfill the design request of the client.
I've my own view, and it's a gift for musicians I like. They can take or reject it, and I'm not forced to modify the banner on demand.
I hope you're not disappointed now?  |

Not really. I just think you are wasting your talent on people that really don't give a crap.
The reason music is free is because everyone expects everything for free. It is sad when a person has an opportunity to actually be paid for their work and they reject the gift. It is much like spitting in someones face.
People pay for things because it is the right thing to do, and it makes THEM feel good that they actually earned the product, it is an exchange of gift for gift.
I doubt that for 5 lousy dollars people are going to "demand" a whole lot. If that is what you have time to do, sit around making nice banners for free, then fine... I would like two please.
They are not for me but for a client. A major label artist named Dennis Logan. Dennis is doing a show on You Rock Radio and I wanted a nice banner to announce the show and one to keep as a permanent band style banner for what I am promoting for the portion of his career that I am now in charge of managing.
I was hoping for a foil looking style think, but you have good taste so whatever you come up with is groovy.
It looks like you have two sizes. The one you have for Philo, the narrow and the other ban be the bigger size. The narrow one will be just below the menu bar on my site http://yourockradio.com
If you just make these on a whim, and this sounds too much like a demand, I apologize. I just thought I could use your talent to help me out here. I can design anything I want by myself, but you have great taste so I thought I would ask you if you can help out. |
