You might have already noticed Music Forte has a new look on the front page. If not, take a look! http://www.musicforte.com

So what’s up? Why the change? Changing design serves many purposes. Nobody likes to see a stagnant site, and although our old page pulled much dynamic content, it’s nice to see a new layout and some new features.

Take this to heart, and update your own websites (whether it be at Music Forte or on your own domain). Even small changes, such as changing your profile picture at Music Forte, will bring more traffic to your site. People simply like to see something new! Additionally, there are certain changes that will trigger automated notifications to people that have put your site on their "watch list".

The changes at Music Forte are not all about looks; although we are pleased with the cool new audio player that features artists and their CDs. If you haven’t checked it out, it emulates the iPhone. Personally, I haven’t tried out the iPhone. Had it come with a bottle opener, I might have given it a try. For others who haven’t tried it out, you can view it at Music Forte. Move the slider bar to the left or right, and you can flip through a variety of albums, listen to the music, or be taken directly to the sales page. Yep, it comes with reflections of the CD cover art and all. Just don’t try talking to it.

Other reasons for the site design change is to open up room for advertisers. Music Forte has partnered up with a very successful online marketing firm. We’ve spent a lot of time planning a strategy that is going to increase traffic and ad revenue. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean the site is going to be littered with ads. In fact, the upgraded members will still receive a profile page without any ads at all. The first purpose is to increase traffic, and that can be done without the ads. The surge that we are expecting is pretty intense, but it won’t happen all at once. We have established 6-month incremental goals. During this time, we will continue to redesign many of the pages at Music Forte that will not only be aimed at increasing the number of page view and activity from our new visitors, but also aimed at increasing CD sales and song purchases.

Now may be a great time to work on your own website. Throw in some new colors, add new pictures and audio, and viola! You now have every reason to invite somebody back to your site.
