Yes, I do know what an "ode" is. This is not going to be written in any particular stanza form. So forgive me on the title. It just had a nice ring (for me).
I had a great meeting today and our new guy, Jeff Mason, was there. He is our Director of Sales and Development. He said something that I’m sure all of you will appreciate. He said, "If we can’t provide a service that is actually going to help the artist, then we don’t have the right to ask them for money". Kudos to Jeff for that.
Not that it is an extraordinary concept; actually, perhaps it is. A lot of companies would sooner go for the fast buck and less work.
With that said, we’ll be sure to abide by that policy. There’s a lot of hard work ahead, but we’re all up to the task, and looking forward to it. I know the musicians at Music Forte will be happy with the direction we’re going.
