BOTTLE-A-BLOOZE BAND
STILL ROCKIN’ THE HOUSE
Don’t let the name fool you. Great blues music may be the mainstay of this local Inland
Empire band from the Chino/Montclair area but they’re just as good a rock ‘n roll band as you’ll find in these parts. Throw in some country music and what you get is an eclectic mix of tunes pleasing even the most diverse of crowds for over a decade.
In between gigs in LA & Orange County at venues like BB Kings & Johnny Foxes and jaunts up to the high desert to joints like The Motherlode and The Desert Fox the Bottle-A-Blooze Band can usually be found at Compass Creek at Ontario Mills The Roadhouse in Upland; and here locally at “Janie’s Sport Bar The Palamino, Jericho’s Mile or Burkey’s Lounge.
The Bottle-A-Blooze Band is comprised of four members: Lamont White Lead/Rhythm Guitar; Denny Mayer Bass Guitar; Bob McEvilly Drums and the band’s original founder Larry Balicki Lead/Rhythm Guitar. They’ve been scattered throughout the Inland Empire playing gigs since they were originally established in 1987. All four musicians sing lead and back-up vocals.
“When the Bottle-a-Blooze Band performs here there’s always lots of excitement. They’re terrific entertainers and very accomplished musicians,” adds Tom Hurst bartender at Jerico’s Mile. “This band has found a new home right here with us. They always draw big crowds and are well received by the regulars and newcomers alike.”
So if it’s some really great Eric Clapton or Stevie Ray Vaughn covers - Stones Creedence or Chuck Berry – or just some good old Johnny Cash - check these guys out…
you’ll see why a great mix of live blues and rock n’roll music is still very alive and well anywhere you see the BOTTLE-A-BLOOZE Band’s name on the marquee!
