Camerouns use intuition and sensibility as a tool to develop their sound. Camerouns´ music is about sharing positive aspects of their consciousness and aesthetic appreciation expressing values of life that make them who they are. Influenced by Brazilian Popular Music (Música Popular Brasileira ou MPB) Camerouns started playing mainly bossa nova as well as other Brazilian rhythms. As accomplished and experienced musicians they studied and emulated the sounds of Tom Jobim João Gilberto, Djavan and other great Brazilian musicians perfecting their own style and sound.
Brazilian Band Camerouns has written recorded and produced two CD's. Camerouns is a new exponent of Brazilian Popular Music. |
