I generally, when I am not working, do some music. It could be practising guitare, piano or voice, or repeating with a friend for the next Jam or Open Mic, or it could be recording a new song, creating a new song, recording a song I created for someone else... keeps me busy

I've been in an Evanescence Phase for much too long.... but other then that I listen to Avril Lavigne a lot she's the best !!! All other rock female singers are playing.... I know got to discover jazz and blues and opera !!!, |
| Movies

Don't go often, much rather got to a Jam Night or Open Mic or play with friends. We usuallly rent movies.... Last ones were really good : The Village The cellular and Saw Saw... Yeah! Horror movies.... keeps me away from my day job !!!

I don't have cable so I guess I see the programs that are there. When there's nothing on I turn it off. Usually I check the news (when it's not too depressing) or I check Entertainment Tonight of Flash for the other news (more refreshing...)

Other then music ? It's my biggest hobby !!! Going out with friends dining out with boyfriend inviting friends for an evening of music and fun. Oh yeah ! There's Amélie who's 4 now, that I enjoy going to see her go to the library or go shopping !!. |

Chantale Dallaire était déjà musicienne à l'âge de 6 ans d’où elle commence des cours d'orgue qui l’amène à ses premiers concerts vers 12 ans.
À 14 ans son père lui achète un synthétiseur avec lequel elle compose ses premières chansons dans sa chambre. Au CEGEP elle fait partie de la troupe Francart et accompagne au piano sur Quand les hommes vivront d'amour.
Les années passent et le plaisir de la musique lui revient en 2000 lorsqu’elle commence à chanter et prend des cours de chant. Son cheminement l’amène à faire sa première performance de compositions seule au piano, en février 2004, ce qui débute un long parcours toujours croissant. Elle joue aussi la guitare acoustique et électrique de la basse et de l’harmonica.
Influencée autant par Sarah McLachlan Alanis Morissette et Evanescence elle écrit pour elle et pour d’autres des mélodies qui vous resteront en tête et des paroles qui ne vous laisserons jamais de glace avec son interprétation intense.
Chantale Dallaire was already a musician before 6 when she started organ courses that will lead her to her concert at 12.
She started composing at 14 when her father bought her a brand new keyboard. In College she plays Quand les hommes vivront d'amour on piano for the Francart show.
Years went by and the joy of music comes back in 2000 when she starts singing and takes courses. Her first show with her originals was in February 2004 and she hasn't stopped since. She plays acoustic and electric guitar as well as keyboard bass and harmonica.
Influenced by Sarah McLachlan Alanis Morissette and Evanescence she writes for herself and for others melodies that will stay in your head as well as lyrics that won't leave you cold with her intense interpretation.
