Influences
|
I thank God for every good song and message that has entered my mind. It has helped shape my songwriting and an amount of creative talent I might possess. I am also influenced by my good friend Rick Austin who introduced me to so much of the music that has helped shape my sound and style., |

Ed began playing piano at the age of 18. It wasn't until college however, that his education was fast - forwarded focusing primarily on Classical. While in college Ed met a good friend Rick Austin, and his "formal" education into music began. Austin introduced Ed to just about every facet of music that has shaped him today: Zeppelin The Beatles, Motown, Progessive Rock, you name it! Since that time Ed has worked with numerous musicians over the years and has been involved in just about every style imagineable. He has also worked in the industry and spent 6 years in music education. In later years he immersed himself in songwriting and recording and has picked up several instruments. He has recorded 2 albums. 2000's "Come Out And Say It!" and the long-awaited follow-up this year's, "Of The Earth And The Son."
