George Komnas was born in Nikea a city near to the port of Pireaus on June 22 1968. At the age of 12 he started learning piano. In 1987 stopped the piano courses. At the same time he studied Journalism. He worked as a music producer for many Radio Stations until 1995. His love for music and theater led him at his first composition for theatrical play in 1995. It was the score for the play "The Holy Bread". Then he composed music for many theatrical performances and some commercial scores.
In 1997 he presented a circle of songs that were based on the poems of Kostis Palamas Romos Filiras and Napoleon Lapathiotes
In 2004 he composed the music for the CD-ROM "World Herittage" under the label of UNESCO HISTORY OF ART CLUB and a year later he composed the music for the DVD "The First Population of Nikea Town" under the label of Municipality of Nikea.
In 2006 he wrote the music for the Aperture Tectonics Theatre Company and especially for the play "Through Wyeth�s Window " a play about the creations and life of American painter Andrew Wyeth. The play presented at the PRINCE MUSIC THEATER of PHILADELPHIA ,on September 2006 and directed by Paul Blore. George Komnas is contributor of IONIAN THEATRE since 1996. He composed the music for many performances of that cast.
He is a solist of VIBRANDONEON a traditional Italian music instrument .
