Deemed as “the greatest show you’ve never seen” with influences like: Motley Crue Metallica, Skid Row & Slipknot just to name a few KRUK is a rock-n-roll party that never stops!!!
Formed in 2001 the band has seen plenty of tri-state press and notoriety for their stage shows and music. The band has had their music played on all the major radio stations in the area with tons of requests following each play. The music speaks for itself mixing a blend of 80’s rock with a touch of what is current. While putting on a show you’ll never forget the band has won over every crowed they’ve played in front of.
In 2003 KRUK walked away as the winner of Miller Lite’s--“Battle Of the Bands” a weeklong elimination event with acts from all over. We took first place which included a small recording contract which resulted in their CD “Slave to Society”. They sold completely out of “Slave to Society” and had played over 130 shows!
After the awesome response to our last CD we had a critical turning point in our career. The band’s drummer Trent Rosenblatt, was called away to Iraq the original guitar and bass player left the band leaving our vocalist, Mike Taucher standing alone.
Enter 2005. Trent comes home and is ready to bash the skins again. We found a familiar face in old member Zane Taylor on lead guitar and with new members Josh Smith on bass and Richard Loyd on rhythm guitar. We have already recorded a new CD have new t-shirts and are playing shows non-stop!!! We’re hard workers that use our creative talent we’ve been given. KRUK plans in the near future of being signed with a label and touring to share our love and appreciation of music with the world!!!
