 About Samuel Storm
Samuel is a 33 year old Singer/songwriter in Eastern PA (Bucks County) who's musical style fits in a cross between Acoustic Rock  and Alternative / Goth. Neither genera completely fits the description of his music  but his lyrical imagery is both dark and heartfelt  while his rhythmical talent lies on the acoustic/rock side of the spectrum.

Born in Rochester  NY,  Samuel began to play music at an early age by banging pots and pans together in the kitchen and singing. At the age of 8 he started learning to play the Drums and had waited till the age of 16 to pick up the guitar and teach himself how to play. Both his parents encouraged him musically to find his own way. He favors a 12 string guitar named Amber  6 string electric guitar named Raven  a set of hand drums  and a Keyboard to express himself.

It wasn't till the loss of his sister that he began writing. After that his lyrical design took on a life of it's own. Samuel made his music his release  and his therapy. As one fan put it "There's something for everyone to relate to within his music..."

Samuel's music didn't start coming together till the fall of 1998 while living in Fargo  ND. On October 11th of that year (the 6th anniversary of his sister's passing) he wrote "Six Long Years" which has received numerous reviews and compliments on it’s simplicity and intensity. Soon after the release of “6 Long Years” others followed.

In Early 2004 another life change had hit Samuel's path and he moved to Eastern Pennsylvania  where he currently resides. He is currently involved in the Bucks County/Lehigh Valley Music Scene  and plays at Open Mics quite frequently.

He is currently involved in preparing his Next CD for release  sometime this year.

Samuel Storm has had his music played on The Phil Stahl Show (90.3 FM WXLV)  93.7 FM WSTW's Hometown Heroes  WMDR Internet Radio,  Pirate Radio Networks Twisted Radio  and Roads Ends Radio.

Thought you might like to see me in my old band 404. I have changed a bit since then.

I have just added "Age Of Innocence" to my page, it is a song about growth and on how things may look bad one day and your dreams maybe shattered, in time a new dream can be found.

I hope you like it and if you haven't been to my page for a while there a lot of new songs you can hear. My first CD "Time" which is now available to buy at MF, so if you like "Age Of Innocence" and want it on CD you know where to get it.

Anyway Chow for now

John

Hi Samuel

How's things going?

What you may have missed!

Just added "When Death Divides" I wrote this song after losing my Aunty Bet. I loved her very much and she was the closest to me, closer than my own mother. She was a very special person.

Also you might not have heard "I Want You Back"

I hope you like the darker songs so far, from "Where do I Go?" I have featured

"Nothing Goes As Planned" a song about living with poverty and the confusion, the human struggle to survive.

"Man With A Gun" Gave me a lot of positive feedback to which is probably my darkest song yet.

This weeks song is "Always Be The One" which deals with the frustration of keeping your loved one knowing that you do love her."

If you haven't had a chance to listen please do. Next week will feature the last of the songs from "Where Do I Go? as in September I will be featuring songs from the album "Time" which will be available to buy on CD from the middle of next month.

Best wishes
John
