I was born into a family of established singers was testing my vocal chords musically at the same time as I was learning to talk
My earlier years were spent being raised by my Grandfather who was a professional cathedral chorister from being a boy I was introduced to choirs from infancy. I would later go on to became a professional chorister myself (Church other) became a principal soloist in various choirs. finally enjoying some time with the Maia choir at their invitation shortly before becoming a solo performer
My influences were wide but mainly rural and so I grew a unique style being able to alternate between 'Queens English' choral very deep southern blues traditional Country & Western Traditional Welsh & Irish and in my teen years found my own way into rock.
I played wind and percussion instruments in my younger years progressing to keyboards, violin then finally guitar at age 14 which remains my main partner in crime along with various percussion instruments
Songwriting in all styles started in childhood and continues
Primarily a rythmn guitarist (acoustic and electric) I turn my hand to most styles.
After nearly two decades of professional singing and semi-professional musicianship I 'dropped out' in my 20's as although experienced and accomplished and enjoy public performance I prefer not to be in the limelight for too long
Music is my life and my love I prefer session work or getting spontanious groups together for public 'jamming' or shows
