I'm a guitarist who plays a lot of other instruments too. On the recordings that I have up on this site I play all of the instuments which includes guitar keyboards, bass, trombone, violin, conga drums and drum machine. The drum machine was the hardest to master. My main gig these days is playing guitar with a great soul and blues band called "JC Rico & Zulu Dragon." JC Rico is considered by many to be the best male soul and blues singer in the state of Oregon and I think it's probably true. That's why I play with him it's not the money. I also do a lot of solo gigs on acoustic guitar and Dobro. I also record alot on other peoples projects.You can find out more about me by going to my website www.steveibach.com.
I just took up the accordion. I just bought two of them. My friends think I'm loosing it. I just heard this woman from SF named Renee De La Prade playing an Irish button accordion last week and she blew my mind. Her band is called Calan's Hounds. They're great. So anyway I had to go out and buy a couple of accordions. Maybe I'll get a couple more next week if I can figure out how to play them. |
