Mr. 902 A.K.A. Mr. Syn is the new sound of the millennium representing Nova Scotians around the globe and his maroon roots in the notorious "SquareTown". Growing up with no options other than a life of crime leading him in and out of correctional facilities he's now adopted freedom through his music finding both notes and bars as his therapist helping him to vent. Mr. 902 musically displays his life articulately as he seduces melody and harmony mutually being Mr. Melodic.
Born Wayne Skinner in Halifax Nova Scotia on October 28th 1-77 he was the youngest of 3 boys raised by his single mother. His 1st memory of his father was watching him play CFL football on TV.
Being the type of child that was a;ways into something he was beyond in his years in terms of what he was willing to pursue. Growning up he felt an infatuation towards the life style of pimps and gangsters in his area. He identitied their music as theme songs.
Leaving for Toronto at age 13 he saw a side of life that makes a mother weak in the knees. There was no reform school no jail time, and it would be years before his parental responsibilities would motivate him to abloish the unlawful skills he possessed at that time.
It took a heist worth millions that would halt his ungodly ways. Forced into jail the outside of his hometown Mr. 902 aka Syn ThaSavior spent time educating himself reading and writing and studying the BIBLE. It was at this time Gods true purpose came through tha text on the page. A verse presented itself like a trigger that killed his criminal intent and preoduced a musician. Able to vent like good therapy Mr. 902 used his lyricism and structured the music based on what he knew. Music became a substutute in his life translating the mathematics of his previous experience into music now he was breaking beats and notes into quarters and halves.
Getting into things was never the negative aspect of his personality and eventally served him well. With this focus redirected into positive outlets his ambition within allowed the recording of 200 songs in 18 months.
Mr. 902 brings a new energy and soul to Canadian hip-hop by opening awareness of the vast talent in his native province. He speaks the from his heart and life experiences genuinely and exudes his God fearing mentuality.
The only thing that can stop Syn on his rise to fame is God himself. Faced with temptation Syn is redeemed and soon to convert to "Remdempation".
You can oppose temptaion but you can't oppose the sweet rough sound of Syn.
