"It's that California Sound," describes a recent Denver CO listener on myspace.com/fabrudies. While blending together a sensational mix of rock reggae, pop and ska, The Fabulous Rudies will knock you off your feet and then make 'em move. It's real music with teeth. Their sound will HIT you with fist pumping heart pounding rock; at the same time get you on the dance floor with a groove that will keep you movin' all night long. The first track off of their new self-titled release is aptly named Keep On Movin' and will do just that previewing what the band has to offer in their live performances AND in the studio/on the radio. The Fabulous Rudies have just released this long-awaited full length for national distribution on Cargo Music in the Spring/Summer of 2006 with support from Fun1One Records in San Diego CA and from their new Digital Record Label - Indie911 offering a myriad of digital promotions including ringtones and digital downloads at www.indie911.com/the-fabulous-rudies .
"This is a hit!" boasts Dicky Barrett front man for The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Morning Jock on LA's Indie 103.1 FM on the subject of The Fabulous Rudies new 9-Track self-titled CD. Featured in this full-length disc is the talent of Peter DiStefano of Porno for Pyros and Jesse Valenzuela of the Gin Blossoms and much of the production talent on the LP comes from Sebastian Robertson son of the legendary Robbie Robertson who produced notable recordings from The Band and Bob Dylan. Truly a great ear for producing runs in the family as seen in Sebastian's feature in the Rolling Stone Magazine cover story "The Children of Rock." The album's featured musician/production talent is the icing on the cake while the eight-member all-star lineup of this San Diego super group is the bread and butter. |
