no record label.. hard to find anything in alberta. people tell me that canada, especially the central region, is a dead market for music such as hiphop. i beg the differ. almost every native american ages 11 to 30 listens to some form of hiphop. not one i have met that does not listen or know common knoledge of their favorite artist. there is about 2 million of us and rising and like B.E.T. , aptn telivision network is another reason for the drive to be what you want to be. with only a handfull of artists going to the awards every year, the chances of making yourself noticed are great. |
