I am 42 years old and have been playing 18 years. I learned to play in the Army while I was a tuba player. I quickly made the switch and joined the touring Rock/R&B/Oldies/Country/hip Hop’n/whatever the heck the commander wants us to play/Top 40's band.
After getting out I freelanced on weekends in LA after my day job. I was the bassist for the "Spirit Chorale of Los Angeles" and for "Bam Crawford's Purpose". I also had the opportunities to perform with Yolanda Adams at the Soul Train Music Awards Daryl Coley in "Jezebel" and tour with the Spirit Chorale through out Italy.
Currently going through vocational rehab (had back surgery). The Army is paying for me to get my Music Business degree at UTA - school is my day job for one more year :).
I currently play with the Bull Dogs (house band for the Friday night blues jam at the Cottage Lounge on NW Highway).
I play on a 5-string Roscoe a 6-string Carvin, Ampeg SVT 400T head SWR Goliath 4x10, Bag End S-15X_D. .
Peace
