My father is a jazz trumpeter. I picked up guitar at 7. Early influences The Beatles followed by Thin Lizzy and via Hosplips to Planxty and beyond. My brother Leo fronted a rock group Ground Zero I began the first of several musical co-operatives with our friend Seamus Gavin: Go On Ahead.
Moved form Fermanagh to Essex. Played bouzouki/mandolin with Planet Plectrum The Illegal Smiles and The Soundlab.
