Buggy Whipp was officially formed in October of 2003 a 3 generation family band which consist of Vivian Teresa & Korrina. Now in 2008 we have 2 more in our group Dan & Katelyn. We play a variety of music.... Traditional Country Bluegrass and Gospel. Vivian Catherson has composed a number of the original songs.
Buggy Whipp is the up and coming premier show band in Minnesota.
Buggy Whipp has performed at the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association (MBOTMA) Winter Bluegrass Weekend in 2005-2008 the MBOTMA Summer Bluegrass Festivals in 2005-2007. In August 2004 Buggy Whipp won 1st place in the open division at the Kanabec County Fair and then received 2nd place on their night at the state fair level. They have also performed at many community functions including: The State of MN Sesquicentennial Celebration, East Bethel Booster Days Pancake Breakfasts, several area gospel festivals and others too numerous to mention.
