Fronted by Lindsay Armaou from B*Witched fame Clayton is a tight band of exceptional musicians.
Rick Mitra (platinum award winning writer/ Producer) and John Peppard (Grammy nominated writer) formed the band in 2005 and were joined by Lindsay in May 2007.
The songs they have written are now being plugged in Nashville on Music Row and deserving much deserved acclaim and interest.
The band includes a group of very talented individuals Geoff Dunn (Van Morrison) on drums Charles Bowyer on guitar and backing vocals and Leon Spicer (Brighton Philharmonic) on violin. Based on the songs and the voice the band plays unpaid in and around the London area and has a 4 track EP which is out on Callaghan’s own label “ My Little Label”.
As a result of the recordings and live shows Chris Parles who has had ten years experience in major record label A&R has come on board as well as Liz Porritt who deals with the internet presence and marketing. What do all these people have in common? – They all work unpaid. Everyone works together to promote this project because they believe in it. The ethos behind Clayton is to make the best music possible entertaining acoustic based live shows and manufacture and sell the records themselves and sell them direct to the increasing fan base. An album is nearly completed and flying in the face of what is considered "cool" in the UK Clayton is providing a new crossover country sound that combines acoustic elements with pop sensibilities. The music is honest pure and beautiful and the band have created a real relationship with their audience and as it is not a major label but simply a group of very talented people who all share the same belief the relationship continues to grow.

I liked watching your live perfomance. Great stuff.
Though you might like to see me in my old band 404. I have changed a bit since then.
I have just added "Age Of Innocence" to my page, it is a song about growth and on how things may look bad one day and your dreams maybe shattered, in time a new dream can be found.
I hope you like it and if you haven't been to my page for a while there a lot of new songs you can hear. My first CD "Time" is at MF and is going through the final admin stages with them so if you like "Age Of Innocence" and want it on CD it will be available.
New song added "Man With A Gun". This is one of my personal favourites. Not for everyone! It is seriously dark. The character in this song is definately someone I wouldn't want to meet.
This is the second song from the "Where Do I Go" album, the other was "Nothing Goes As Planned"
Almost in August and it is another lovely weekend. I have just changed from songs from "Riding On A Dark Cloud", to some of my darker songs. I hope you like them.
I am starting off with a song about poverty, no it isn't about feed the poor. It is just about the confusion an human struggle to survive. While "Riding On A Dark Cloud" the music is very 60's based this is different more synths and much darker.
I hope you drop my and give the song a listen and other songs if you have time.
I have listened and I have been consumed by your music. There is an honesty in your voice that not many have. I value that dearly. You have everything it takes to make your mark as long as you stay true to yourself. It is an honor for me, just to be able to listen to your beautiful voice and touching lyrics.
